I'm a Kiwi living in London, I find the miserable weather keeps me from getting too homesick for my native Wellington.
I read all sorts of things, particularly mystery, science fiction and fantasy (with a heavy dose of romantic fantasy as my mother-in-law is into that) and non-fiction science. But basically if the book is good, I'm happy. I come from a long line of readers, my grandfather had to join three public libraries in his lifetime as he had read all the books at the first two, my grandparents wound up building three new houses on the farm (one for my great-grandmother, a new one for their own family, and one for a farmhand) which gave them somewhere to store books, but I think I will have to follow my great-aunt's policy of getting rid of one book for every book she acquires.
I'm happy to trade in general, but I'll warn that I don't like Dickens, much to the amusement of my parents.
