Hallo da draussen!

Ich bin studierte Biochemikerin, komme aus München und bin derzeit mit meiner Promotion beschäftigt. Da mein Arbeitsgruppenleiter seit Anfang 2007 in Hannover ist, bin ich schweren Herzens mitgegangen, um so fertig werden zu können. Meine Heimat ist und bleibt aber München, wo auch mein Mann lebt und arbeitet. Durch diese Umstände pendle ich jedes Wochenende mit dem Zug nach Hause und komme nun auch (endlich) wieder zum ausgiebigen Lesen (irgendeine positive Seite muss man dem ja abgewinnen).

Am liebsten lese ich Science Fiction, im Moment bin ich aber sehr mit der SZ-Bibliothek beschäftigt (so wie's aussieht brauche ich dafür auch noch eine ganze Weile).

Ich bin gerne bereit, sämtliche Buecher meiner Personal Collection zu verleihen, allerdings kann ich es bei den wissenschaftlichen Büchern nicht immer versprechen, dass es auch geht. Aber Anfragen kostet nichts. ;)

Last but not least - bin bei weitem noch nicht fertig, alle meine Bücher zu registrieren, aber was nicht ist, wird schon noch werden.

Hello out there,

I'm a biochemist from Munich currently working on my PhD thesis. As my supervisor went to Hannover in January 2007, I had to come along to be able to finish my work in his group. Munich, however, remains my home, as my husband lives and works there. Due to these special circumstances I have long commutes on the weekends from Hannover to Munich. As I travel by train, I (finally) have more time to read again (you only have to see the positive side of it).

My favortite genre is Science Fiction, although I am currently very busy with classical literature of the 20th century.

If you are interested in a book of my personal collection, I would generally be happy to lend it to you. It might, however, be difficult to give away scientific literature. But just ask, then we can see.

Last but not least, I'm far from having registered all of my books, but I'm working on it. =)
