Extended Profile
Welcome to my BookCrossing profile.
This poor thing is so outdated, it's sad, really..
The last time I updated this, I said my cat was 1. She's six now. *sigh* That update also said how out of date the profile was. This is clearly a chronic problem.
Anyway. Not much to say about me. Three cats, a smattering of hobbies. Lots of irons in the fire.
My favorite book ever is Matilda. It's a children's book that I discovered 20+ years ago, and the main character spoke to me. I still read it once in a while.
As for what I tend to read now, the more an author's horn is tooted, the more I seem not to like them. I spend a lot of time at conventions with authors that are regional names, and I get more enjoyment out of their books than anyone else. Look up AJ Scudiere or Seventh Star Press or visit your local book festival to find some in your area. Just because they're not announcing their name and then saying "here's my book title" on a national television commercial, doesn't mean that they're not good authors.
