Extended Profile
I have always been an avid reader. I would even class myself as a book addict. I am also a member of two book groups in Chelmsford.I was a volunteer in a well known local charity bookshop. (2020 due to covid, I have given this up). I am interested in bringing
other adults who may not have had educational advantages into reading. Since 2016, I have volunteered for a group that helps refugee and other non- English speaking women improve their English.I have no special preference in reading material.
My other interests include visiting the theatre and author events, general history, walking especially in the urban environment, wildlife and riding my bike. I always like to include some kind of bookmark in my bookcrossing books, so I welcome stocks of such things as postcards, attractive business cards and of course bookmarks of any size or shape. I also like dark chocolate and handmade soaps.
I am prepared to send out any books of mine which are marked AVL (and if you don't mind waiting TBR - I'll put a requested book to the top of my pile) to any part of Europe.
