La Biblioteca del Centro de Automática y Robótica, pertenece a la Red de Bibliotecas del CSIC. Es un centro de titularidad mixta dependiente del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas y de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid desde 2010.
El Centro tiene dos sedes, una en Madrid, y otra, en la que se encuentra la biblioteca en Arganda del Rey (Madrid).
Se trata de una biblioteca especializada, localizada en un centro de investigación que presta sus servicios a la comunidad investigadora del centro, y al personal de administración y servicios interno, así como a otras bibliotecas públicas, académicas o de investigación, externas a la Red de Bibliotecas del CSIC.
The CAR Library, belongs to the Library Network of CSIC, is a joint centre runs in conjunction with university: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2010. The center has two head offices, and the library is located in Arganda del Rey, Madrid.
The specialist library located at research center provides services to CSIC internal staff and others libraries of public, academic or research institutions outside the CSIC Network.
