My husband and dad both read this book and really enjoyed it. It's going on my TBR shelf for awhile.
Well, awhile turned out to be 12 years, but I finally got around to reading this. I really enjoyed learning about John Glenn’s life from his perspective. It’s now jetting its way to the West Coast as part of the Nonfiction VBB.

I enjoyed reading about the life of John Glenn from his almost-idyllic childhood in a small town in Ohio to his experiences in World War II and the Korean War and finally his two experiences orbiting the earth. The most fascinating part of the book was his description of his few orbits of the earth in 1962. I also enjoyed the description of his childhood.
