It's difficult for me to rate as I have not been a mystery reader previously. However, about mid-way through, I stayed up very late into the night to find out "whodunit!" Perhaps this is the test of a good mystery (and may try more of these). I was given this book in the fall of 2009 while vacationing in Hill Country, Texas - at a wine stroll at lovely New Braunfels. I brought it home, put it away and forgot (or misplaced it). OUCH! I apologize for this - enjoyed the book and have sent it on to a friend in Tucson, AZ.
