At Home In Mitford
4 journalers for this copy...
Father Tim, the bachelor rector, is not satisfied with the peaceful life at Mitford. He wants something more, and he gets it. A new neighbor moves in, he acquires a huge dog and a homeless boy, there's a mystifying jewel theft, and a secret more than 60 years old.
I've already read this in a Bookring, but liked it so much that I couldn't resist when I saw it being offered at BookRelay. I'll read it again soon.
I started a bookring with the second volume, so it seemed logical to bookring this one too. Here’s the list so far:

Sent yesterday to Tho, together with nr.2
Arrived on Friday, and I plan to start reading it as soon as I'm done with my current reading ... thanks Pequete for organising this :-)
A very charming book ... I didn't know quite what to expect from this book, but it was a very pleasant surprise :-) The adventures of Father Tim and all the other characters from Mitford are very entertaining, and this small village really comes to life in Ms Karon's writing. My favourite parts: Father Tim and Cynthia, the man in the attic, Miss Sadie's love story ... Dooley and Barnabas, of course ;-) ... and now I'm off to start the second volume ... this will be passed on to cristina-m on our next meeting.
It's with me and i'll read it as soon as possible. Thank you Tho, Pequete.
Desculpem estar a reter o livro tanto tempo... se vir que não o consigo ler durante a próxima semana, passo à seguinte na lista. A culpa não é do livro, é minha!
dear book, where are you?
No news, still.
