Everything I Need to Know I Learned From a Little Golden Book
2 journalers for this copy...
A whimsical guide to life for adult fans of classic Little Golden Books combines light hearted advice with nostalgic illustrations that convey nuggets of wisdom. I was surprised by how many Golden Books were written and/or illustrated by authors of many other classic children's books. Margaret Wise Brown, Richard Scarry and Edith Thatcher Hurd are a few I hadn't known about. It's a fun book for adults to flip through and comment on. It would be interesting to share with a favourite child and to discuss the illustrations and memories they bring back with her.
Release #154 for 2024..
Looking forward to learning a few things, never too old to learn.
What a wise little book. I do wish I had taken more notice of the somewhat hidden advice the Little Golden Books contained.
