2001 Vintage trade paperback of the 2000 National Bestseller tale of a woman in a Los Angeles monastery, who finds out that her influential visions of God's radiance may really be based in a life-threatening epileptic illness, confronting her with the spiritual choice between a medical cure or the continuance of her visions. A NYT Notable Book. I found this copy yesterday in the Monterey Little Free Library.
Edit May 4, 2024: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. It runs a bit short. I currently have this ranked at #2349 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
