I finally got around reading this book and it was worth it.
Even though the author claims it to be a trunk novel I found that the story stands on its own not in a shameful way.
The plot is quite simple but very well crafted the two main characters are well built, even though one of them is dead and the story carries the action well.
Blaze is a force of nature, this simpleminded gentle giant proves to be not as dumb as he looks and his feelings although often misdirected are essentially good.
King even as Bachman has a knack for the writting craft and it shows in his works, even in this one.
Loved reading it and loved the way the story ends, it really couldn’t be any other way but for a moment there…
Memory was a nice short story to read, it certainly brings up some issues that we all deal with, each in his own fashion.
