One of my Mum's books, passed to me to read and bookcross.

There are a few reasons that I might give up reading a book, but I hasten to say that it wasn't anything to do with the writing style or the author's ability ... I have enjoyed other books by this author and will probably enjoy more in the future. I just couldn't connect with the characters and after four or five (long!) chapters of daily life where nothing really remarkable happens at all, I decided it wasn't for me.

This will be released somewhere between my home town of Ledbury and our holiday destination on the Welsh coast - will update details once I know exactly where ;)

Only 50 pages in so far. Enjoying the hints of the back story, but didn't realise it is part of a trilogy. I am finding the characters real and connecting with the relationship between husband and wife. Looking forward to reading more....
