I have never tried a weighted blanket since my son usually kicks off the blankets once he is asleep anyway. But he tends to get very warm when he is asleep, even in a cool room.

do you know what is causing the (I am guessing by what you describe) sciatica? Hopefully it is nothing serious and the shots will help. Are you getting cortisone?
