Extended Profile
Hello! I'm an avid reader and finally got around to checking out this site after finding the clipping stashed in my ever-growing pile of clippings.
I'm a big fan of non-fiction, particularly women's history and history of the US westward movement in the 19th century. I also enjoy sociology and study of Americana.
Fiction favorites include Edith Wharton, Pearl S. Buck, Jane Austen, Margaret Atwood and Gail Tsukiyama. Plus about a billion others!
Just got started reading mystery novels, especially during my pregnancy and recent birth of my son, Caleb (see picture).
I love to travel and have always dreamed of travelling to the Antarctic... too bad I didn't study something scientific or I could have gone there to work! I intended to become a meteorogist until my lack of mathematical aptitude got in the way.
Probably no one is going to read this so who cares what I write, right?
