"YABIHR"; Yet another book I haven't read, Michael Palin's travels around the world were always one of my favourite BBC TV shows. I never felt the later ones captured the same "feel" as the first epic "Eighty Days Around The World", and remember watching "Sahara" longing for it to be as good.
Still, I picked this up intending to get all that which wasn't shown on the screen, but never got around to reading it.
Shrugging aside the perils of camel stew and being run over by the Paris-Dakar rally, he travels through some of the most spectacular landscapes on earth.
