Loved it! Loved it! I hated having to pull myself out of it to go to real life. The characters were believable - the dialogue was realistic. I'm in love with Edward too!

Time to start the ring with this one!

How the bookring works:

* Someone will PM you for your address, PM them back and provide your address

* When you receive the book, please make a journal entry letting everyone know that you received it

* Put the book at the top of your TBR pile (under other rings/rays that arrived first)

* Read the book (take your time and enjoy the book, don't feel rushed to finish it)

* If it looks like it will take you longer than a month to read, please post an updated journal entry so that all concerned know that the book is not stalled. Again, please don't feel rushed to move it on but do keep us informed!

* When the end is in sight, check the book's journal and PM the next person to get their address

* Finish the book, make another journal entry and let everyone know what you thought of the book

* Send the book to the next person on the list (please use the cheapest shipping method available), make release notes (Controlled Release) or journal entry to let everyone know that it's in the mail

* At the end of the ring, last person please pm Lynlee4 for address and mail back.

I never thought I would read another book about vampires (after The Historian-which I did not enjoy) and like it. I can see why the “young adults” like this one. There is definitely something about the love between a human and a vampire that is very exciting. This book is about Bella and Edward. Bella is human and Edward is a vampire. The story is about how they meet in Fork, Washington and how they become a couple. Half way thru this book, I wasn’t that impressed. I thought I had been snookered by the hype of a book again. But when the “visitors” appeared and began the chase, the book became exciting and suspenseful. And so now I am definitely ready to read the next one in the series.

Thank you sooo much for including me in this ring.
I am so glad I was finally able to read this book.
I kind of felt out of the loop so to speak.
I have the next person's address and will send on the next couple days.

Though I'm not too impressed with the writing, this book certainly was able to hook me the with romance and suspense. I'm looking forward to reading others in the series.

esperanza03 and jaglvr both asked to be skipped, so I am sending this on to passiontoread in PA.

Journal Entry 9 by passiontoread from Coopersburg, Pennsylvania USA on Wednesday, September 17, 2008

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't realize I didn't journal it, sorry. I finished this a couple weeks ago and will notify the next in line for their address. Thanks so much for sharing.

This arrived in NYC, but I've actually already read it. I'll find the address for the next person and pass it along as quickly as possible. I enjoyed the book -- it was exactly what was promised -- good vampire fluff. I thought it was a little too relationship driven, but I think that's a matter of taste. I liked the second book, New Moon better than this one.

Note: sarradee already has a copy of this book, so I've sent a PM to innae.

YEAH!! the much hyped book (and movie, which I am waiting to see until after I read the book) has arrived safely in Colorado!! I will finish my present read quick, and start this one ;-)

Journal Entry 13 by winginnaewing from Aurora, Colorado USA on Tuesday, December 9, 2008
I didn't want to like this book, but alas, I did. I read it in about two days, it is a QUICK read. It is not the novel of the century, howver, it is a good read. It is more aimed at tweens I would say, but there is nothing wrong with reading a tween novel...really. I am adding the sequels to my wish list.

and yes, I want to see the movie, but I am not on the "I Love Edward" bandwagon -- i would choose Angel, or Spike, or Jean-Claude over him....and we all know my favorite vampire is Asher. Ahhhh Asher.

As kz4ufo has PM's turned off...this book is ready to go home!

Journal Entry 14 by lynlee4 from North Port, Florida USA on Monday, December 29, 2008
