An impulse buy in a charity shop, since I'm 39...

Even allowing for technical problems - the pages appear to have been bound in the wrong order - I thought it was still a pretty pathetic book. While it claims to be about "pushing forty" it seems actually to be about life in one's forties and fifties. The jokes are mainly about married life and children, and I'm still single. And so on...

For release soon.

Edited to add: I released it on Friday 27 October at Loughborough post office.

Dire almost beyond belief. That certain kind of horrific illustration that was rife in books published in the late eighties. Would perhaps appeal to the kind of man who dreams of moving to the Costah Dell Soll and thinks that Only Fools and Horses is the pinnacle of hilarity. Something to show the lads when your wife lets you out once a week for a couple of pints. I'll leave it on the tube.
