I read something quite dark just before this..so Betsy and her adventures were the perfect antidote.

These books are starting to annoy me, though I'm sure I'll still read every one of them that comes my way. The writing is sophomoric and I didn't find that the story this time was compelling enough to overcome that. Or amaybe I was just in a bad mood while reeading it. :0)

My wife read this book before and thought I would find it "interesting". What the heck is up with what she calls "chicklit". Not really to my taste, but I am sure that others will enjoy it.
