Another hit! This book was a little harder to get into because I was impatient to hear the "other side". You read quite a ways into the book before you hear Clay's story. While that frustrated me a bit... I can see that perhaps the author wanted us to feel like his main female character, Rachel did. Confused by why Clay had left, not knowing if what was being said was true and dealing with all the gossip and pain of holding her family together.
Truly a remarkable author, Randall Arthur takes us down yet another path of betrayal in the worst situations.
I hope he continues to write because I am more than willing to keep on reading.
