I am in the middle of this book. So far, I am enjoying it, especially because I am reading a book about my hometown while I am very far from it. There is nothing like reading about familiar places when you miss them! All the descriptions of food and food preparation are probably the highlight for me so far. The characters seem a little far-fetched for me, but I will reserve my final feeling on that until I am done.
