1991 Scholastic Apple Classics trade paperback of the collection of five children's Christmas stories by various authors. I found this copy yesterday in the Gliddon Little Free Library in Castro Valley.
Edit June 30, 2024: This was fun, but I just skimmed to end for time. It runs short, and is intended for children, although for children of a past who were educationally much more advanced than our modern infantilized readers, in comparison. The drawings are few in this, and realistic in style, rather than the modern tendency toward cartoonish humor for kids' short attention spans.
