Maybe this is the third or fourth or fifth copy of this book that I’ve released for BookCrossing. I think it explains *so much* about race relations in the American South, and how things in Mississippi came to be the way they are today.
This paperback copy of the book includes an essay by the author, as well as a guide for book clubs to use.
And for what it’s worth: the movie, of course, couldn’t cover the subject matter in the depth that the book does, but I was impressed at what the movie managed to convey.
