Recently widowed Thea Osbourne is house-sitting in a beautiful Cotswold village, when first she hears a scream in the night and then finds the body of a neighbour in the field attached to the house she is looking after. With a brother-in-law in the police, Thea feels like she should help uncover the secrets hidden underneath the chocolate-box beauty of the village.
