it was among the compulsory readings for our english classes in highschool,that's why i didn't read it at that time, choosing another steinbeck instead. however, i feel i have read it at the right time, therefore enjoyed it immensely. i hope not all teenagers will reject it the way i did, as it is a wonderful text for that age.
