The Bottlenose Dolphin is a cetacean, one of the group of marine mammals that includes whales. It spends its whole life in the sea. It comes to the surface to breathe through the blowhole on the top of its jead. A dolphin's body is streamlined, and it swims fast with powerful up-and-down movements of the horizontal tail flukes. Dolphins are very sociable creatures and live in groups called pods. They communicate with each other using high-pitched whistles."
