Hello..
My dear email friend sent this site to me, and I am so excited as I love to read. I cannot wait to get started! I am a cat lover, and I have 9 of my own. I also have 12 foster cats as I was doing rescue and adoptions. My mom passed away recently, and it has been very hard for me as she lived right next door. I am hoping this will help cheer me up mentally, and give me a reason to get up in the morning!
I collect cat books of all kinds, and I do have several shelves of them. I would like to share some of those also, as I am sure there are a lot of cat lovers like me out there too.
I also like horror fiction, and my favorite authors are Dean Koontz & John Saul. I also read all of Joy Fielding's books! I believe reading is so important, even if we just read the daily newspaper! I am happily married to a wonderful man which will be 25 years on October 10th! He is not the advid reader I am, but will read anything on fishing or classic cars! We have a 1965 Pontiac GTO. We also have a 23 year old son we are very proud of and is doing well. When he moved out of the house it was hard with him being the only child! I STILL feel that "empty nest", but working with the animals has helped me, and I am sure this will too. I love to watch movies, and again, love the scary ones and suspense. My favorite all time movies include "Urban Cowboy, Splendor in the Grass,& The Way We Were". Did I say suspense??LOL My favorite people in the world..besides my family..are John Travolta, Oprah, Ellen, & Nancy Grace!!
I love carnations, the color green, pineapple smoothies, St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, Kind people & cool weather! I think I have said enough...nice to meet whoever reads this and God Bless!
