Extended Profile
"With books my life would be liveable -- any life."
--Oscar Wilde
I can be happy anywhere as long as I have a book to escape into. I love almost every type of book. I tend to be a thinker and an observer. In real life, I work as an international student admissions officer at an intensive English school and meet really interesting people from all over the world. I also have an herb garden, a cat named Annabelle, and a quick wit (if that counts for anything).
BIZARRE
BOOKS!!!!Wishlist Disclaimer: I trade lots of books and have set up lots of BookRings and BookRays. Why should I feel guilty if I really like a book and don't want to give it away? If I've wished for a book, there's a good chance that it's a book that I might want for my permanent collection (it would be available to other BookCrossers only as a BookRing). If you're more interested in racking up journal entries for your book than giving your book a good home (which I thought was the whole idea behind BookCrossing), please don't offer to fulfill a book wish for me.
Also: I'm NOT doing BookRings and BookRays anymore! Please don't ask me to join one. I want to read what I want to read without having to feel like I have a time limit or have to read that book first. I'm reading for me again and it's not such a chore.
OH, AND A QUICK BOOKCROSSING TUTORIAL CAN BE FOUND HERE.
