Extended Profile
I know my cats call me Book face behind my back but I love them anyway. I have become adept at dangling a string while reading to keep them happy, it's really hard to concentrate on reading while a cat is staring at you making the occasional whimpering
sound. I also love audio books, they keep me company while I wash dishes at home and do mindless tasks at work. Being a devout cheapskate I usually acquire my books from the Salvation Army Thrift Store, the local libraries and their sales, even the laundromat
and of course the most cherished way of all, a wild book.
I have many hobbies, more hobbies than space in which I have to work, they consist of working with beads, either simple jewelry items to seed bead weaving, water color painting, collage and my newest interest, art quilts. The lack of space has put the art quilt endeavor on hold, which brings us to the most important hobby of all, organizing and letting go of stuff which I'm getting pretty good at but we aren't there yet.
