Extended Profile
Hi everyone,
Okay, I admit it, Jethro is not my real name, it's really just plain old John. I live on Hayling Island, a quaint and quiet little island on the south coast of England, near Portsmouth.
When not working, I spend most of my time acting in and helping out with Hayling's little theatre, but I also like reading (of course!), cinema, and the unashamedly geeky pursuit of SF/fantasy role playing games. My partner Fiona is very understanding about this little flaw in my character! You also might see me in talkcity.com's slow trivia chat room from time to time.
I saw BookCrossings on a TV book programme, and thought it was something I'd like to get involved with, so here I am. I'll read pretty much anything given sufficient time / boredom, but favourites at the moment are Iain Banks, Terry Pratchett, and of course, J K Rowling. Sorry, no Sophocles or Tolstoy!
Okay, I've rabbited on enough about me, although if you're a sucker for punishment there may be a photo here as well by the time you see this.
Happy reading all!
John
