Journal Entry 1 by wingmaryzeewing from Taneytown, Maryland USA on Wednesday, April 6, 2011
This book has been sitting unread on my shelf since early in my BCing days. I'd heard of this author as very good at speculative or alternative fiction, and wanted to try some of his books. But as I look at this book, I realize that this is one in a series, and as I look at it more I remember, I don't like war novels. So I think I'll let this apparently unread by anyone, withdrawn library pb go free to find a new home, and hopefully an appreciative reader.

From the cover -
Is it the War to end all Wars - or war without end? What began in 1914 as a conflict in Europe, when Germany unleashed a lightning assault on its enemies, soon spreads to North America, as a long-simmering hatred between two independent nations explodes in bloody combat. Twice in fifty years the Confederate States of America humiliated their northern neighbor. Now revenge may at last be at hand.
