The Hearse You Came in On

Enjoy and pass it on!
The blurb on the cover is right: “Entertaining, amusing, fun.” Baltimore mortician Hitchcock Sewell winds up in a tangle of crooked cops, bent politicians, and corpses (ok, since he’s an undertaker corpses are part of his everyday life, but these corpses aren’t ones he met professionally, so to speak). The book was nicely plotted, with enough twists that I didn’t figure out the murderer until just before the end, even with a peek-at-the-back-of-the-book to help. I know just enough about the Baltimore setting (my wife is a Bawlamoron) to appreciate the details. I’m looking forward to Cockey’s next book, “Hearse of a Different Color.”
I really enjoyed this book. It is a great read! Can't wait to read more of his books!
