***Synopsis***
Ageing is about losing youth and finding a varicose vein. It is about fighting your children and making peace with your parents. It is about gaining wisdom and mislaying your reading glasses. Throughout time, people have feared ageing, laughed at it, cried about it, defied it, accepted it - and written about it. This delightful collection gathers together the most memorable quotations about ageing, including those of William Shakespeare, D H Lawrence, Oscar Wilde and Evelyn Waugh, right up to Margaret Thatcher, Joan Rivers and Jerry Seinfeld.

Received a couple of days ago, sorry for the delay, university's trying to kill me. ;)
Also a couple of other bookrings have arrived at about the same time, so the book might want to age a bit over here.

A little book, with funny and witty quotes. I found it very interesting to discover the different points of view on aging and its symptoms, the humor people associated. Not extraordinary, but calm, quiet with occasional giggles.
Do you want it to go back to you or first look if there's someone else interested?

It's arrived safely - thank you Bluemchenblatt (what a mouthful!). Shouldn't take long to skip through this little book by the looks of it so it should be on its way fairly soon. Thank you kiyoitsukitage for including me in the ring.
This little book was very amusing. I have read some of the quotes before but sadly, having reached the age of 61 fairly recently, some of them are becoming very true. I found one particular quote very funny because it is so true in my case: "Inside every seventy-year-old is a thirty-five-year-old asking 'What happened?'" Where did all those years go?
I am currently reading John Mortimer's Summer of a Dormouse (A Year of Growing Old Disgracefully) which is extremely amusing - an 'enlightening guide to the territory of old age'. I mention my book because I am sending it out on a ring soon and people who have expressed an interest in this book might be interested in joining my ring! Send me a PM if you are.
I will PM jessibud and send it on its way ASAP.

This sweet little book arrived safely and took me less than an hour to read. Cute and funny, with wit, charm, and a number of pearls of wisdom. Very enjoyable.
