This was esteemed author Tom Robbins' eighth novel. Though hard put to choose one Robbins book over another, this one is especially timely. Though the main characters are vetrans of the Vietnam war, the underlying messages Mr. Robbins shares apply as much to the current war going on today. His poignant insight, dazzling wit, diamond-bright intellect and astounding mastery of the written word make this book one that should be read, savored, absorbed, then read again and again.

This was my first experience with bookcossing and I loved it! How fun it was to find a book laying around at the park I take my dogs too.

The book was a great read - sometimes a little out there, but I still enjoyed it.
