Book three out of the Axis of Time trilogy.
The actual book that I own was printed in Australia and has a different cover (ISBN: 9780330423397).
Final Impact is quite a fitting name to end the trilogy. To be honest I think if Birmingham had enough time and passion at his disposal, we would've ended up having a trilogy of trilogies. Right after the prologue, I was struck by the thought that three novels clearly weren't enough to cover the entire altered World War II. Birmingham made the wise choice to focus on developing his cast of main characters, but that also meant dropping several characters which appeared in the previous novels and that's quite a shame.
9/10 because it's way better than Weapons of Choice, but weaker if compared to Designated Targets.
