Very very funny book!
It's the story of the Greek gods and goddesses, who have come down in the world because no-one believes in them anymore, and now live in a large, run-down house in London. The author clearly took inspiration from Terry Pratchett's "Small Gods" and also Good Omens, but this is not a copy or a piss-take, it's a novel which stands well on its own and has its own ideas.

It's funny just as a good read, but you'll get more out of it if you know a little bit about Greek mythology, what deity is responsible for what aspects of life, and their stories.

Picked it up at the Mai Dublin meet-up.
As a big fan of Greek mythology it was a "must-be-talken".

Absolutely fabulous.
I adored the book, the characters, the mingling of reality with myths, the story developpement... everything. I'm a big fan of Artemis and Athene.
Don't miss it.
But it will only be half as funny, if you don't know Greek mythology.

Caught this book at the BCIE annual outing to Belfast to meet the BCNI members. Will release hopefully in Tullamore this weekend as part of my All Around Ireland Challenge.
