Turn right immediately after Geoffrey Kiltmaker to get to Trunk's Close. Walk down the close and turn right under the girder to get to the garden.
I left the book at entrance to circular lawn.

found the book, fantastic random act of kindeness. thank you much and more. it just so happens i finished a book now i can begin reading this one.
interesting that i was in that garden measureing it. i am a student of architecture and am currently doing a project which refers to the scotish story telling centre.
