I bought this one new at Barnes & Noble years ago because it was only $2 and I have never read it. Inexplicably, I read up to page 73 and then put it down. Now that I have seen several screen versions of the book, including the definitive Colin Firth miniseries, I want to start over at the beginning again.

How could I ever have stopped reading this book at page 73? Pride and Prejudice has earned its place on my all-time favorite book list. Great story, great characters, wonderful humor. Loved every page.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Released for SSM 121608 celebrating Jane Austen's birthday. The SSM was to leave the book in a place that evokes history, and for me, that was my place of employment when I was a teen-ager--the former Davis Supermarkets on East Pittsburgh Street in Greensburg. Back then, we were the same as Jane's characters in Pride and Prejudice, looking for love, good matches, and great fortunes. With that in mind, I left the book on the ATM outside the store.

Congratulations--you caught a book!
