Michael Moore has a reputation for being one-sided, so I think he did well by just letting the correspondence speak for itself. The letters from Iraq were eye-opening and those from family were heart-breaking. My personal opinion is much like that expressed by the soldier on page 12, but I''m glad I continued on and read the whole book.

Back on the shelf for others to enjoy. Thanks!
Borrowed from the OBCZ for a trade with KateKintail. Thanks Kate!
I've always enjoyed Michael Moore's books but hadn't had a chance to read this already. Considering I send packages to troops regularly (through AnySoldier.com) and have friends & neighbors who are serving, I'm sure this will be a powerful read.
Borrowed this from my daughter. Very moving and heartbreaking. Makes you awfully angry at the waste, and proud of the young people who serve.
