I read a lot of romance novels and, as anyone who reads a lot knows, some are just plain better than others. This book was more than just better though, this book was fantastic. I don't remember how I stumbled across it because I have read and reread it so many times that it feels like I have always known these characters. I fell in love with brooding Jared Lockett the moment that innocent Lauren first described him and Lauren herself is charming in the beginning but really wins you over as the story progresses and she discovers more about herself.

Many of the romance novels I buy end up discarded under my bed or in the closet, but this one has a place of honor on the bookshelf ... It's a keeper and though I know the story by heart, it is just gets better each time I read it. It superceded all my expectations, a real winner.

I would recommend it to everyone who enjoys this type of fiction.

Rescued from a box of books on their way to who knows where??? Kim i Libri (Link) gave this book to me with a pile of others to make sure they got some traveling done .... Well, Here's hoping they find friends to help them along in their journies!
