Very funny novel about 2nd generation sisters scheming to save their 84yr old Ukrainain immigrant father from the 36yr old sluttish blond new wife who has clearly only married him to be able to stay in the UK. Painfully hilarious about dealing with ageing parents, the indignities of advancing years, family tensions, and the background of the family's escpae from Stalinist Russia, this made me laugh out loud and was certainly the funniest book I read on my holiday.
