Looks Adventurous

Journal Entry 2 by Lottiotta from Aberdovey, Wales United Kingdom on Monday, December 4, 2006
:) I don't hang out much in Coventry, but when I do, I try and visit both OBCZs in the city centre. :) It usually results in a good book to read on the train, fabulous. So this is one such book, the second in the series I think, and it's funny because I read the first in the series and never really found any others in it. But then I just fall over this one. Wicked! :D

It'll be good to continue hearing about Lessa and F'nor, and the politics always intrigues me. I should be able to pass this on pretty soon. It always amazes me that this is actually sci-fi, set in the future on another planet where dragons have been bred for a purpose. Cooooool idea.

Synopsis from Amazon.co.uk
The silver Threads began falling again. The dragonriders took to the skies and their flying dragons swirled in space, belching flames that destroyed the strands before they reached the ground. But F'lar knew he had to find it before the rebellious Oldtimers could breed any more dissent - and before his brother launched another suicide mission.

Hmmmmm, I really really really enjoyed this! It's been a while since I read the first one, but this time I got totally absorbed in the world - I actually properly hated Kylara at some points, I'm sure you'll understand why!

Excellent, now I'm used to the language it flows beautifully through my head. :)

On to Kettie next, she has it already and just needs to journal.

Sorry it has taken me so long to journal this one- apparently the internet at home has also become tempremental whilst I have been away. Am looking forward to reading this one, but am going to try and get hold of Dragonflight (fropm the library) first.

Back on the Gerald Shelf, and I'm just wondering if you want me to mark it as reserved or if you don't mind what this ragamuffin of a book gets up to, Kettie?
