Interesting and slow. An ethereal book about a shipwreck, a murdered man and love.

I found 'Wrack' in a coffee shop in Newark. It captured me immediately. I found James Bradley's language to be very beautiful and languid. Ultimately, however, he did not have a great deal to say on what it is to be human. The story should have revolved around the mystery of the ship wreck that drives the two main characters. Instead, it got bogged down in a rather ordinary tale of love and loss. I did enjoy it, but it was much like reading background music, pleasant but forgettable.
I intend to release it in near future, I'm not certain when or where, however.
