I can't believe it. My second day as a Crosser, and I've already caught my first book. Well, sort of. I saw this book pop up as recently released last night and noticed that it was in Irving. I knew I couldn't make it before the store closed, but I have a sister who lives about fifteen minutes from the release site. I called her and tried to explain the best I could about the situation. Probably not having the slightest clue what I was talking about, she took down my info. and said she would stop by first thing in the morning. She said she went into the store this morning not really knowing why she was there, but being a good sister, searched diligently for my phantom books. She said it wasn't just laying on the shelf like I had described, and it took a little searching to find it. While searching, she drew the attention of a few employees, and by the time she found the books (proving that I wasn't insane) she had to explain to a few employees the situation before they would let her leave with the book. Anyway, this is the most amazing concept in sharing books that I have ever known. I am glad to be part of it, and I thank my sister for helping me with my first catch. This book will be released back into the wild as soon as I have devoured it. I hope my sister enjoyed her early morning scavenger hunt.
I just started this book last night. It is the first Eidson I have read. I'm about halfway through and it has been action since the first page. Should finish tonight, and will release back into the wild.
Just finished reading this one. Thanks Vinyard. Not too bad. Had some nice plot twists that kept it interesting. Very enjoyable read. Hope the next person enjoys it.
