Extended Profile
If it has words on pages, I'll usually enjoy it. I read at least a few books a week, and would read more if I could. I love a good suspense/thriller, but am just as pleased with a nice book of poetry. Childrens books to biographies to sci-fi, I'll be happy.
Find me a few Dean Koontz that I haven't read and I'm in heaven.
I am the father of an amazing three year old, who doesn't ever seem to have time to sleep. I think he enjoys books more than I do. His favorites ar Dr. Suess's 'Green Eggs and Ham' (which he knows by heart), and 'How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night?' by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. Both have to be read every night before he will even think about getting under the covers.
I have a number of books that haven't been read on my bookshelf, but I read at least a few a week. If there is something that catches your eye, just PM me and I will read it next. It will be ready to go within a few days.
I am currently reading A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, and Dead Babies by Martin Amis (thanks LinneFaulk).
My most recent reads were Watchers by Dean Koontz (thanks rkcook64), Electric Light by Seamus Heaney, Boy in the Water by Stephen Dobyns(thank you MsPooh), Roads by Larry Mcmurtry, Strange Highways by Dean Koontz, Boogie-Woogie by Danny Moynihan, Whispers by Dean Koontz, The Curve of The World by Marcus Stevens, Your Name Here:Poems by John Ashbery, and Shadowland by Peter Straub.
