This got here last week before I went out of town.

I read this while away, and really enjoyed it. It has been a while since I last read any of Larry Nivan's works, and I fell in love with his writing style again.

Thanks for sharing this tribe.

Space Education Council website:
World Space Week was declared in 1999 by the United Nations General Assembly as "a yearly celebration at the international level of the contribution that space science and technology can make to the betterment of the human condition." Anyone, anywhere can run a World Space Week event. The events can be big or small. What is important is that by concentrating them all in a short space of time, much more interest can be generated locally, nationally and globally.

Reading can make one light-years ahead. Space is just the beginning...

Happy Reading!

I picked up this book in Evanston, IL, USA at a Panera Bread (Golf & Skokie Blvd, across from Old Orchard Mall). This was the first I had ever heard of BookCrossing, and was intrigued. Someone had added a number of books ("released") that I found I would like to read, so I picked up a few.

As for this book, I've enjoyed many of Larry Niven's books in the past. The fact that this treats time travel like fantasy, AND mixes in some fantasy elements made it even more interesting. One of my sisters and I have discussed time travel in the past, and she is turned off by most books and movies on this theme because they ignore basic paradoxes time travel might create. I've told her about this book, and will give it to her to read.

Note that she travels globally quite a bit, so I purposely picked this book to give her to see where it ends up!!!

QUESTION: Are Panera Bread stores the only commercial organization sponsoring these "drop off" points, or are there others????

Bon voyage'!
