I hate Dean Koontz books. I won't even begin to read them anymore. I am amazed the man gets paid to write them. They are all alike and they all generally suck. And he couldn't write a decent ending to save his mother's life! This book was especially disappointing. It had such promise!! It was actually interesting and had a unique story premise!! That is hard to find on one his books. But it is completely ruined by the man's inability to grasp the concept of a good ending. It ended in a goofy way that was thought up by a group sleep deprived elementary school kids.

If you like Dean Koontz, sorry.
