Bought in the post Christmas sales in WHSmiths for £2.99, December 2005. It's a hardback, but is paperback sized, and is quite a handy little book. They had a number of different books in this style - I guess they're special stock or something.

Sad to say, there were distinct aspects of this book that had my cringe reaction kicking in big time! There were points at which I was almost reading the book through my fingers, with my hands over my face thinking "she's not going to, is she??" but she did! So it wasn't quite as enjoyable as I had hoped, but it was generally a good read when I got through the cringe-y bits!

This book is signed by the author :o) We met her in Birmingham at the UnConvention, and were thinking about our wedding at that point, hence the inscription that reads

Carole, if you read this, I am pleased to say that our wedding was nothing like the ones in the book, and was a perfectly lovely day! We have been married nearly three years now, and have a wonderful set of almost-two-year-old twins (boy and girl). I am very glad our wedding was not like the book ;o)

I am releasing this book at the BCUK UnConvention in Leeds, as I am unlikely to read it again and with twins in the house there is little time for reading and we need as much space as we can get! I hope whoever finds this book enjoys it.

To be released with a lot of other books at the BCUK UnConvention in Leeds next weekend. I hope it finds an appreciative recipient.
