i was really in the right place at the right time today - my favourite bookshop was having a clearance - every book on the table for $1... and there were a LOT of books to choose from!! there were also a LOT of other people to contend with, so i probably missed many other wonderful things... this was one of 8 that i brought home. wow - 8 brand new books (a couple were even hardback!!) for $8!! bargain :)

Thanks for the surprise RABCK. I must have forgotten to tell you but after you told me that you bought this at a bargain price I rushed out and got one for myself! So I think I'll offer it up as a RABCK on the wish forum.

I actually can’t believe I got this seven years ago. So much has happened in that time. I picked it up because I’d been working as a youth worker and all my year twelve students had been reading looking for Alibrandi and I never had.
It moved house with me so many times. I finally listened to both books in the last few months and really enjoyed them. I’m not big on audiobooks but these were excellent. I’ll take this to our Brisbane meetup on Sunday and find a suitable home there.
