Since I started in 2005 much has changed. The girls have grown up, one has a family of her own, the other two are at uni. I am teaching fulltime and don't have much time to bookcross anymore. I do have a bookshelf in my classroom and a group of students who bookcross too www.bookcrossing.com/---/WestminsterBC

We are a mum and 3 daughters (18, 16 & 14) giving away our excess books. The girls love finding new and strange places to leave books. Hope they are found and enjoyed :)

So far we have been kindly wung by Hotflash, Grooble, Jamesmum, Chich, Guinneth, Tracey-Shannon and six times by a mystery winger/s. We love having wings and flapping around the site so thank-you all :)

I don't have many opportunities to check in with bookcrossing anymore. So if you're waiting for anything from me please be patient, I promise it will get there it may just take a little while :)

The books on our shelf do not necessarily reflect our reading tastes. We have loved BookCrossing so much that we have started buying books to release now that our excess shelves are almost depleted. Our true tastes are as follows:

The rating system…

This is the scale I use to rate books that I've recently read. It was 'stolen' from cathyinoz's bookshelf who 'stole' it from lmn60's bookshelf who 'stole' it from the really useful book rating system on scism’s bookshelf.

10: Excellent, at the top of its category. This book has impacted me deeply, challenged me profoundly, or has simply been a pure delight to read.
9: Great book - just a nitpick stands between it and a 10
8: Good, solid book that I would recommend to others.
7: Good book, but it didn’t grab me in a big way.
6: Decent, but not for me.
5: Maybe somebody else would like this. I didn't.
4: Only OK. Barely worth reading. The line between taking it and leaving it is very thin.
2-3: Has major problems. I don't recommend it.
1: It's hard to imagine anyone liking this book.I didn't finish it!
