I've just started this...but after about 37 pages I am almost to the actual "novel." If the novel is as good as the rules, preface, acknowledgments and table of contents it should be a fun ride.

Well. I'm not sure what to say about this one. It is a story of a young man who loses both parents to cancer and raises his young brother. It could be a very touching or at the least a picture of a twenty-something struggling with life's blows but it doesn't quite reach that goal. The author is often rambling and has a tendency to jump around from point to point. I wondered if he was trying to be like James Joyce. That said I did enjoy some of this and the rules, preface, acknowledgments and the "Mistakes We Knew We Were Making" were perhaps the highlights of the book.

a little hard to get into initially but wow....honest portrayal of what it must be like for a 20 something to have to be responsible for his younger brother....sending on to a bookcrosser in Texas
